Step by step

Set it up in ten minutes.

10 minutes One person · No crew
01

Choose your site

Find a level spot. Clear rocks, sticks, and debris. Orient the tent so the door faces your preferred direction, usually away from prevailing wind. If you're on grass, you're set. If on hard ground, use the included stakes rated for it.

02

Unroll and position

Unroll the ground tarp first. Unroll the tent on top with the door facing your chosen direction. Take a beat to get the position right before you inflate. Rotating a set-up tent is possible but no fun.

03

Inflate the airframe

Attach the included manual pump to the air valve. A few strokes at first, then continue until the airframe is firm to the touch, about 3 to 5 minutes of pumping. The tent stands up as it inflates. You'll know it's set when the beams have no give.

04

Stake the corners and guy lines

Stake each of the 4 corners tight. Attach the 10 reflective paracord guy lines to their anchor points and stake them out at roughly 45 degrees from the tent. All 10 guy lines used = full 75mph wind rating. Skip a few if it's calm; use them all if weather's coming.

05

Interior setup

Zip the magnetic door closed. Hang the 2 included shelves in the ceiling channel. If using the LED strip, thread it into the ceiling channel now. You're done.

Pack it away without the wrestling match.

01

Unstake and coil

Remove all 10 guy-line stakes and the 4 corner stakes. Coil the paracord neatly so it doesn't tangle next time. Small effort now, big time-save later.

02

Deflate the airframe

Open the air valve and let the airframe deflate on its own. Give it about a minute of standing time before you touch it. The tent will slowly settle. Don't force it.

03

Clean and dry

Wipe any dirt off with a damp cloth. Make sure the canopy is fully dry before packing. Never pack a wet tent. Mold is the number one thing that shortens a canopy's life.

04

Fold at the seams

Fold the canopy carefully at its natural seams. Fold in from the sides toward the center. The seams are engineered fold lines. Use them.

05

Roll and pack

Roll from the foot end toward the valve, pressing remaining air out as you go. Compress into the rolling duffel. Zip closed. You're done in 5.

Pack-awayStanding tent back into the duffel. Real time, no cuts.

Care that keeps it looking new.

A few small habits and the tent stays photograph-worthy for years. RPET fabric, zero PVC, UV50+ coating, PU 5000mm waterproofing. Durable, and better with care.

01

Never pack wet

Number one rule. Mold is the fastest way to age a canopy. If you had to break camp wet, unpack + air-dry within 24 hours.

02

Damp cloth cleaning

Damp cloth + mild soap for spot cleaning. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or pressure washing. They eat the UV coating.

03

Store dry and cool

Dry, temperature-stable place. Room temp ideal. Not the trunk of a car in July. Not a damp basement corner.

04

UV50+ lasts 5-7 years

The UV50+ outer coating doesn't need reproofing for 5-7 years of active use. If color starts to fade, that's your signal.

Repair kit included

Tear it in the field. Fix it in the field.

Every tent ships with a full repair kit. Not "here's a random patch, good luck." Actual patches in every fabric weight and material used in the tent, plus airframe patches, plus a small sewing kit, plus spare magnets, plus adhesive.

Fix a tear in the field in 5 minutes. Fix a pinhole in the airframe in 10. Whatever you can't handle, we ship a replacement for.

The tent that comes back from wear is not the tent that gets thrown out.

Modular parts for life

Any part. Any time. For as long as the tent stands.

Every component is available as a modular replacement. When a canopy wears in year 8, you don't buy a new tent. You buy a new canopy and keep going. Same airframe, new art.

Post-purchase FAQ.

Real questions from real owners. If you're still deciding whether to buy, the pre-purchase FAQ lives on the product page.

How do I patch a tear in the canopy?

Every OmegaTent ships with a repair kit containing patches in every fabric material used in the tent. Clean and dry the area, apply the matching patch with the included adhesive, press for 30 seconds. For rips longer than 3 inches, contact care@goodintentsco.com so we can send a professional replacement panel.

Can I wash the canopy?

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap for spot cleaning. Do not machine wash. The UV50+ and PU 5000mm coatings can degrade with harsh detergents. For heavy stains, contact us for guidance specific to your canopy.

How do I store the tent in winter or long-term?

Store in a dry, temperature-stable place. Never store wet or damp. The magnetic hinges stay strong for the life of the tent if kept dry. Room temperature is ideal. Do not store compressed under weight for long periods.

What if the airframe won't hold pressure?

Almost always a pinhole leak in the TPU inner tube. Submerge the section in water to find the bubbles, dry, apply a TPU patch from the repair kit. If you can't locate the leak or the airframe fails to hold pressure after patching, email care@goodintentsco.com.

How do I order a replacement canopy?

Email care@goodintentsco.com with your original order number and the canopy you'd like (any current canopy, or your custom design). Replacement canopies swap onto the same airframe. Turnaround is typically 4-8 weeks depending on canopy availability.

Are shelves and other parts upgradeable?

Yes. Every part of the OmegaTent (shelves, door hardware, floor, mesh windows, guy lines, magnets, LED channel) is available as a modular replacement. Modular parts for life.

What if a magnet detaches from the door?

The magnets are sewn into fabric pockets on the door edge and rarely detach. If one does, it's covered under the modular parts program. Email us with a photo and we'll ship a replacement.

How do I clean the mesh windows?

Damp cloth, mild soap, air-dry. The 45g/m² No-See-Um mesh is durable but avoid pressure washing or aggressive scrubbing. Small tears in mesh are patchable with the included mesh patches.

Where do I submit warranty claims?

Email care@goodintentsco.com with your original order number, photos, and a brief description of the issue. Direct buyers: 10-year airframe guarantee, 1-year textiles. Commercial: 3-year airframe guarantee, 6-month textiles. Covers defects in materials and workmanship, for the original buyer with proof of purchase.

What if I lose the repair kit or pump?

Both are available as modular replacements. Email us to order a repair kit refill or a replacement pump.
