What is an inflatable glamping tent?

An inflatable glamping tent replaces the poles you know with air. Pressurized air beams, sewn inside protective covers, hold the shape of the tent when inflated. You unroll the tent, connect a pump to a single valve, and watch the shape stand itself up. No poles to bend, no hardware to lose, no crew, no manual, no arguing.

The OmegaTent is a luxury inflatable glamping tent designed to feel more like a room than a shelter. It's what we call an air tent, a blow-up tent, an inflatable air tent, and a modular airframe tent, all at once. Same idea underneath: pressurized structure, insulated walls, a full-size door you can close and lock, and a canopy that changes the way you feel when you look at it.

What makes the OmegaTent different from other inflatable tents on the market: a patented modular airframe (so any component can be replaced without retiring the whole tent), a fine-art canopy printed on 150D recycled polyester ripstop with UV50+ coating and heavy-duty 5000mm PU waterproofing, a magnetic hinged door, a built-in closet with two hanging shelves, accessory loops throughout with an LED ceiling channel and battery pocket, and full mosquito seal. It's designed and hand-sewn in Colorado, patented and tested in the USA and Australia, and built to last, with modular parts always available.

Why Inflatable

Four reasons this is the last tent you'll ever need.

Ten-minute setup

One person, from unrolled bag to standing tent. A few strokes of the pump. No poles to fumble, no crew to organize, no manual to read.

Patented airframe

Single-point Boston valve inflation, 8 PSI operating pressure with a 9 PSI safety-relief valve. Over-inflation is impossible. The airframe flexes in wind where a pole would snap.

Fine art you can sleep inside

Every canopy is a designed piece, not a print catalog. When one is down to its last unit, that's real scarcity. When they sell, they don't come back.

Modular Build for Life

Any part is replaceable. Canopy, inner, air frame components, all sold separately. The tent you buy today stays your tent.

The Honest Comparison

Inflatable vs. canvas.

Both have real strengths. Here's a straight comparison so you can pick the one that fits how you actually live.

MaterialsZero PVC, 100% recycled polyester, fire retardantCotton canvas, sometimes waxed

Canvas is the right choice if you're setting up once for a decade in a heavy-snow climate and don't mind the setup labor. Inflatable is the right choice if you want speed, modularity, design freedom, and the ability to move the tent with the season. There's no wrong answer, only the one that fits how you actually live.

Good Questions

Answers before you shop.

How does an inflatable tent work?

Air-beam construction. Pressurized air tubes replace metal or fiberglass poles. Plug in the pump, inflate the beams through a single Boston valve, and the tent stands itself up.

How long does setup actually take?

Ten minutes for one person, from unrolled bag to standing tent. A few minutes of the manual pump, or effortless at the touch of a button with an electric pump.

Are inflatable tents durable?

Yes. The OmegaTent uses 150D recycled ripstop canopy on a patented airframe. The airframe is guaranteed for ten years. Canopy and inner fabrics typically last five to ten years of active use with proper off-season storage. When any component wears, you replace just that part.

What if a tube pops?

The 9 PSI pressure-relief valve prevents over-inflation. For punctures, the repair kit handles small tears with mesh patches, air-frame repair patches, and adhesive fabric samples. For anything larger, the airframe is covered by the 10-year guarantee (personal use).

How does it perform in wind?

Tested to 75mph sustained winds. Field-tested at Burning Man through Playa dust, flooding rain, hail, and freezing rain. The airframe flexes rather than snapping like a pole would.

Can I leave it up all season?

Yes. Three-season use anywhere in the continental US, and year-round in warm climates. Not designed for heavy snow.

Is the canopy art printed or something else?

Every canopy is a designed fine-art piece, printed on recycled polyester ripstop fabric using durable outdoor-grade methods with a UV50+ coating. Some prints are down to their last one. When they sell, they don't return.

How does it compare to canvas?

Canvas is heavier, takes longer to set up, and lasts longer. Inflatable is faster, lighter, and easier to relocate. See the comparison table above.

Can I take it in a car?

Yes. Packs down into a rolling duffel bag (31.5" x 20.5" x 19.7"), about the size of a large piece of rolling luggage.

Is there a warranty?

Ten-year airframe guarantee on personal-use tents. Textiles (canopy, inner, floor) covered for one year. Modular replacement parts always available. Commercial orders are covered by a separate warranty (three-year airframe, six months textiles); see /for-glampgrounds for commercial terms.

Ordering multiple tents for a property?

Commercial opportunities available, with pricing that scales to your order size. Three-year commercial airframe warranty. Modular parts always available. Build a quote personalized to your glampground, retreat, or event.
